ABOUT THE TEA
The Greater Hartford Chapter of Jack and Jill was honored to celebrate our 60th anniversary celebration as we raised money for Hands On Hartford Backpack nutrition program.  We honored our past and celebrated our future; while making a difference in our community. We hosted a High Tea and Haute Couture featuring African American designer/tailor Justin Haynes of #JUS10H and our GHJJ teen models! Justin collaborates with Saige's Muse and we were thrilled to have her jewelry and support at our tea. Saige's Muse is a trendsetting Online Jewelry Store, curated and owned by Ivori A. Smith, offering custom/handmade earrings.

HANDS ON HARTFORD
Many kids in Hartford receive free lunch throughout the week at school, but struggle to find enough food to eat on the weekends. Through the Backpack Nutrition Program, backpacks containing four meals, drinks and snacks are distributed to children each Friday during the school year, plus weekly enhancements such as fresh fruit, nutrition resource information and school supplies. They currently serve over 200 children at 6 local schools in the city.
